Upcoming Scottish Cultural Events

There are a number of Scottish cultural events taking place in the country over the next few weeks.

On Sunday 23 September, the renowned folk musicians Neil Adam and Judy Turner will be performing in Auckland as part of their "Robert Louis Stevenson Project" tour. Neil and Judy are founders of the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club, one of the most popular fiddle clubs in the world.

Later, in October, there will be screenings of "The Groove is Not Trivial" in Auckland and Waipu. This is an inspiring and critically acclaimed documentary following Scottish master fiddler Alasdair Fraser and his search of self-expression that takes him deep into his Scottish musical roots.
